Obituary

Judith Louise (Deems) Tasker, 69 years, passed away, Wednesday, May 3, 2017, at Ruby Memorial Hospital, Morgantown, WV.

Born May 18, 1947, at Loch Lynn, MD, she was the daughter of the late Guy Kawin & Virginia Catherine Deems. Mrs. Tasker was preceded in death by a sister, Barbara Bamford.

Mrs. Tasker was a homemaker and enjoyed being with her family.

Surviving is her husband, Clifford Paul Tasker, Sr.; two sons, Clifford Paul Tasker, Jr. & wife, Carla, Brian Kawin Tasker & wife, Crissy; one daughter, Catherine Marie Tasker & husband, Sean Hershman, all of Oakland; nine grandchildren, Charise Tasker, Mitchell Tasker, Tyler Tasker, Brooke Tasker, Brandi Tasker, Mitchell Taylor, Julia Hershman, Cesilie Tasker, Kawin Tasker and one great-grandchild, Hoyt Miller.

Friends will be received at the Newman Funeral Homes, P.A., 1100 Memorial Drive, Oakland, on Saturday, May 6, 2017 from 2-4 & 6-8 pm. Services will be conducted in the funeral home on Sunday, May 7, 2017, at 2:00 pm with Pastor Chad Reese & Pastor Barbara Rexrode officiating. Interment will be in the Tasker Cemetery.

I'm sorry for your loss. Judith was a beautiful woman. She had the prettiest smile. I only got to meet her while taking care of her. You can tell by how much she was loved by friends and family that she was a beautiful Daughter, Wife, Mother, and God's Child.

So sorry for the loss of Aunt Judy! She was a special woman with a heart of gold! Uncle Buck was very lucky to have her as his wife as well as we all were so lucky to have known her and to be part of our family! Prayers to you all and I will continue to say prayers for Uncle Buck in his time of need along with what he has been going through. Love to you all! She will be sadly missed!

I am so sorry for your loss. Judy was a super woman. I am also so sorry I won't make any of the services, as I have a business trip. I will be praying for you and sending love and hugs to each one of you over the next few days and coming months. She will be greatly missed and leaves behind an amazing family. Xoxoxo

Judy would do anything for anyone. The nicest lady you would ever meet and like a second mom to me. She will be greatly missed.
