We're going to miss her sitting on the back row in Sunday School class. We haven't known her long, but have grown to love her. God's Blessings on all her family.

Savage Family,

My heartfelt sympathy to each of you. You have lost the backbone of your family and I know she will be missed. Hold tight to your memories, they will help you get through this difficult period.

My memories of Dot go way back, nearly to the day my parents sold the store in McHenry to your grandparents. I will treasure the memories I have of her. When I called her on her 80th birthday she told me then, "Had I known I would live this long I would have done many things differently." She surely must have done something right to live another 12+ years. Let her life be a constant guide to you as you go through these years of all sorts of conflicts. She has been through lots of the things that most of us can only say, "I remember that."

Thee are not many of the "old timers" from McHenry still around and though I do not get up there very often, I think about them a lot.

Prayers for all of you.
