To Claudia and the entire Tressler Family,

We regret that we were unable to attend Uncle Charlie's funeral. You are in our thoughts and prayers. We hope these words reach all of his family.

"The Mayor of Loch Lynn," that was how Dad addressed his Uncle, our Great Uncle Charlie. Now we understand why. What an accomplishment to be a mayor for 26 years. He must have been an amazing Mayor, husband, brother and uncle, because we remember his smile and friendly demeanor from the family reunions.
Memories of Charlie will always be cherished in your hearts, as well as ours. Sometimes they will make you smile, or even make you laugh outloud. Other times they will well up inside of you and pour forth as a fountain of tears. Charlie was and will always be your angel. Although he will not physically be present at our reunions, we will feel his spiritual presence. Now as he meets those who predeceased him, Dad can once again address Charlie as , "The Mayor of Loch Lynn."

With Sincere Sympathy,

Waltraut Staggs, (Carroll's wife, Ferne's son), Laura Staggs McClelland and Bill, Jeff and Theresa Staggs

My prayers go out to Charlie's family. He was such a sweet man and always smiling. My earliest memories of Charlie goes back to my very young years when he drove school bus, such a kind and sweet man. I have know most of Charlie's family for years and please know you all have my deepest sympathy.
